ueno park
Ueno Park, located next to Ueno Station in central Tokyo, is a spacious public park that was originally part of the Kaneiji Temple, a family temple of the ruling Tokugawa clan during the Edo Period. Today, it's renowned for its museums, such as the Tokyo National Museum and the National Science Museum, as well as Ueno Zoo, Japan's first zoological garden. The park is also celebrated for its more than 1000 cherry trees, making it a popular spot for hanami, the traditional Japanese custom of enjoying the transient beauty of flowers.
