tokyo metropolitan government building
The Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, known as Tochō, stands as a symbol of Tokyo's urban development. Designed by the renowned architect Kenzo Tange, this complex is not only the administrative center of Tokyo but also an architectural marvel. The main tower splits into two sections at the 33rd floor, reaching up to 48 stories, and includes two observation decks that offer panoramic views of the city. These decks are open to the public free of charge, allowing visitors to gaze out over Tokyo and, on clear days, even catch a glimpse of Mount Fuji.
