The Zeppelinfield Grandstand in Nuremberg, designed by Albert Speer, is a stark reminder of the monumental architecture of the National Socialist era. Constructed between 1935 and 1937, this grandstand was modeled after the ancient Pergamon Altar and served as the central venue for the Nazi Party Rallies. After the fall of the Third Reich, significant parts of the structure were demolished for safety reasons and to symbolize the end of National Socialism. Today, what remains of the grandstand continues to serve as a historical site, providing a space for reflection on the events of the past.
