universe of energy
The Universe of Energy, an iconic pavilion located in the eastern side of Future World at Epcot, was one of the park's original attractions when it opened on October 1, 1982. This pavilion was dedicated to educating visitors about various forms of energy, featuring large-format film presentations and a slow-moving dark ride through a prehistoric diorama. In 1996, it underwent a transformation to become Ellen's Energy Adventure, starring Ellen DeGeneres and Bill Nye, before closing in 2017 to make way for a new attraction.
