ulm

Ulm, a city steeped in history, is renowned for its Ulm Minster, a towering example of Gothic architecture. This church, which is not a cathedral as it has never been the seat of a bishop, boasts the tallest steeple in the world, reaching an impressive 161.53 meters. The construction of Ulm Minster began in the late 14th century, but it wasn't until the late 19th century that it was completed. Visitors can ascend the 768 steps to the top for a breathtaking panoramic view of the surrounding area, including a clear-day glimpse of the Alps.
