ta prohm
Ta Prohm is a temple at Angkor, Cambodia, built in the late 12th and early 13th centuries. Originally known as Rajavihara, meaning "Royal Monastery", it was established by the Khmer King Jayavarman VII as a Mahayana Buddhist monastery and university. The temple is distinctive for the trees growing out of the ruins and is known for its appearance in the film "Tomb Raider". Ta Prohm has been part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1992 and continues to fascinate with its overgrown beauty and historical significance.
