Notre-Dame de Reims, or Reims Cathedral, is a magnificent example of High Gothic architecture and a site of significant historical importance in France. It stands on the site where Clovis, the first king of the Franks, was baptized by Saint Remi in AD 496. This cathedral has witnessed the coronation of many French kings and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1991.
