Odori Park is a verdant oasis in the heart of Sapporo, offering a respite from the urban environment and a place for people to relax and enjoy nature. Stretching approximately 1.5 kilometers across the city center, it divides Sapporo into north and south sections. The park is not only a green space but also a cultural hub, hosting many of Hokkaido's well-known seasonal events, such as the Sapporo Snow Festival in winter and the Sapporo Summer Festival. With 92 types of trees, including lilacs and elms, Odori Park is a celebration of the seasons and a beloved landmark for both locals and visitors.
