neues palace

The New Palace, or Neues Palais, is a grand structure located in Sanssouci Park in Potsdam, Germany. Constructed between 1763 and 1769, it stands as a testament to the last great Prussian Baroque palace. Commissioned by Frederick the Great after the Seven Years' War, the palace served as a symbol of Prussia's strength and not as his main residence. Instead, it was used for hosting important guests and showcasing the splendor of Prussia, with over 200 rooms, including a theater and four main gathering rooms.
