nan lou
Nan Lou is a historical defensive tower, known as a diaolou, located in Chikan, Kaiping, Guangdong, China. It gained recognition for the valiant stand of seven members of the Situ clan who defended it against Japanese forces for seven days. Unfortunately, they were captured and killed after the Japanese used poison gas. In honor of their sacrifice, a monument was erected on the Tanjiang riverside to commemorate these heroes.
