Ganden Sumtseling Monastery, also known as Sungtseling and Guihuasi, is a prominent Tibetan Buddhist monastery in Yunnan, China. Established in 1679 by the Fifth Dalai Lama, it is often referred to as the 'Little Potala Palace' due to its striking resemblance to the Potala Palace in Lhasa, Tibet. The monastery stands at an elevation of 3,380 meters and is the largest of its kind in Yunnan province, housing over 700 monks.
