dragon and tiger pagodas

The Dragon and Tiger Pagodas are iconic landmarks located at Lotus Lake in Zuoying District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Constructed in 1976, these pagodas are renowned for their vibrant architecture, with one tower named the Tiger Tower and the other the Dragon Tower. Visitors often walk through the dragon's mouth and exit through the tiger's mouth, which is said to turn bad luck into good fortune. The seven-story structures are adorned with traditional designs and are connected to the shore by a zigzag bridge, offering a picturesque view against the backdrop of Lotus Lake.
