The Aqueduct of Padre Tembleque is a remarkable example of hydraulic engineering from the 16th century. Constructed between 1553 and 1570, this aqueduct stretches over 45 kilometers, showcasing a blend of European and indigenous techniques. Its most notable feature is the Main Arcade, which crosses the Papalote ravine with 67 arches, the tallest standing at 38.75 meters. Recognized for its cultural significance, it was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2015.
